Cabinets Everywhere

Just wrapped up a quick project for a friend who had their second child, used some leftover spalted curly maple to make some coasters for their family of four. Each one got a family member’s initial branded into a corner before finishing.

The other project finished recently is an accent cabinet. This is a fun project as it’s the first time I have taught someone else a bit of woodworking. A friend mentioned their interest in learning about woodworking and had a solid idea of what they would like to build, which led to a few day trips from Chicago out to Indiana to collaborate and build. The cabinet is made from Ash, and turned out great.

Next up is a walnut record player cabinet for my sister’s new apartment, look forward to posting photos soon!
